H5 Data Centers Declared Acquisition of 7 Data Centers From vXchnge

Edge data center and carrier hotel provider, H5 Data Centers has announced that it has bought data centers in 7 global locations – Nashville, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Portland, Secaucus (New Jersey), St. Paul, and St. Louis from vXchnge.

The acquisition was announced at an undisclosed price.


Acquisition Gains

Founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers, Josh Simms said that “The Demand for edge data center space always increases”. He further added that the acquisition with vXchnge gave them the opportunity to expand their portfolio to 20 markets, deepen relationships with customers and also continue to build and grow interconnected digital ecosystems.

H5 Data Centers already owned more than 3 million square feet of data center space privately. This acquisition added over 250,000 square feet of data center space, which now operates 22 Data Centers in 20 markets. It has also gained communications carriers, Fortune 500 corporations, content distribution networks along cloud service providers. The most latest deal is a purchase of a facility in Cincinnati, OH, in December.


H5 Data Centers

The vXchnge still has website data centers in seven locations and one in Raleigh-Durham, NC. H5 Data Center firm creates adaptable and scalable data center solutions to meet the clients’ core infrastructure and edge requirements.

As of now, H5 Data Center is operating in Albuquerque, Ashburn, Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, Phoenix, Quincy, San Antonio, San Jose, San Luis Obispo, and Seattle.
