BT Group Selects Google Cloud As Their Strategic Partner For Data and AI Transformation
Business News News March 11th 2022Google Cloud and BT Group announced that they are entering into a five-year strategic partnership to accelerate BT’s company-wide digital transformation. This collaboration will include BT using a suite of Google Cloud products and services – like cloud infrastructure, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, security, and API management in order to deliver superior customer experience, reduce cost and risk, and also to build new revenue streams.
BT is undertaking massive transformation in the field of the digital world, through its BT Digital unit, and this initiative includes the work of creating a group-wide data and AI fabric which will be part of its cloud-first and AI-first strategy. Under this partnership, both the companies will aim to help BT to unblock hundreds of new business use-cases to strengthen its ambitions related to digital offerings and create hyper-personalized customer engagement.
BT’s data transformation is aimed to deliver business results using AI and deep machine learning across the company to enable companies and customers to make more data-driven choices, and also be able to offer personalized customer solutions to develop new go-to-market propositions. This will provide BT to get real-time network analytics, which tends to improve customer service by allowing for predictive problem management and assurance.

Utilizing Full Cloud Capabilities
Google’s SRE team will collaborate with BT to bring out the continuous delivery and zero ops autonomous operations culture so that it will speed up the development and ongoing innovation as part of BT’s new ‘Digital Way’ work culture.

Google and BT have already begun their collaboration on Google technology adoption, and have the goal to complete the core data move by 2023.
