Cybersecurity Firm SentinelOne Buys Identity Firm Attivo Networks for $616.5M
Business News News March 16th 2022SentinelOne is a cybersecurity platform provider which has now acquired identity security company Attivo Networks. SentinelOne’s AI is powered to provide services like prevention, protection, and response capabilities that are now extended to identity-based attacks, raising the bar for XDR and speeding business zero trust adoption.
SentinelOne will pay $616.5 million in the form of cash and shares to purchase Attivo Networks under the terms of the signed deal. The deal is scheduled for the second quarter of SentinelOne’s fiscal year, which is subject to regulatory approval and other standard closing conditions.
Attivo Networks have customers from all over the world and they also protect Fortune 500 organizations to government agencies from all types of identity thefts, privilege escalation, and lateral movement threats. The company is known for the Identity Detection and Response (IDR) experts, which offer innovative protection against identity compromises, privilege escalation, and lateral movement assault. Attivo Networks provide the highest visibility into security exposures and attack pathways. Its products prevent and derail attack escalation efforts across endpoints, Active Directory, and cloud environments.

Identity Infrastructure Assessment – It is Attivo’s identity assessment tool. It enables identity-focused attack surface reduction by providing quick Active Directory visibility of misconfiguration, suspicious password, unwanted access, etc.
Identity Cyber Deception – It is Attivo’s network and cloud-based deception suite that helps to identify identity threats. Organizations can save a lot of time, as this allows them to discover and analyze the misdirecting attacks, halt attacks, insider threats without compromising organizational assets.
